Hamilton Community Radio

The Wednesday morning session on Hamilton Community Radio featured the Raglan Creative Market.

Jacqueline Anderson, the Market Coordinator was interviewed about the upcoming market on Sunday 10th January. Jacqueline told listeners how the market has expanded in recent months with stalls out front, in the Old School and out back.

One of the new drawcards has been the music provided by Felix. And Jacqueline says it’s always a pleasant surprise what Felix has planned for the music. For Sunday’s market he will be based around the back of the Old School, underneath the shade sails. And that is also where Jacqueline is encouraging the food stalls to be.

Gaenor Hunter’s Visual Feelings exhibition will be open in the gallery during the market. A first for the market will be Rainer Eschenbruch’s stall selling bottle of organic wine from his Birchwood Lane Vineyard in Tamahere.

November Stallholder Newsletter

Dear Raglan Creative Market Stall Holders

Our next market is scheduled for Sunday 13th December with a start time of 9.00am – 2.00pm.

As it will be 2 weeks away from Christmas, please feel free to add as much Christmas Festivity to your stall as you want – decoration, dress up or selling of any Christmas themed items etc.

There will also be an exhibition by Stuart Shepherd in the Gallery room.

For the children, there will be face-painting available from 10.00am – 2.00pm.

There are also new stall holders coming along which is great!  Please encourage any other new stall holders to check out our website www.raglanmarket.com for details of booking a stall – the more the merrier!

Felix will again, be providing us with music – Maramba band for November – what will be next?  The music provided by Felix, is to encourage visitors to the market, provide ambience for all the visitors and stall holders enjoyment, and to promote and encourage all the musical talent that is out there!
